Review for Tonight's

I was pleasantly surprised. It wasn't incredibly funny, but it wasn't too off the wall or wacky. I got worried in the second act that the resolution would be something alone the lines of the ghost of Maude telling Lisa to give everyone leprosy, but glad there was at least a plausable explanation for the miracles happening. There were a few great lines, like "We're the neighbors, and we don't think" and "Let's both go sit in the car" and things like that. The second act wasn't too funny though. Grade: A nice, modest B

I didn't pay much attention to it, but it was a decent episode. Still a slight departure from last week.

I give it a B. Maybe I'll put all of my attention into it next time.

I felt the jokes tended to be forced and/or predictable. It seemed pretty stale to me overall, after a string of good episodes this season. The hallucinations of Disco Stu and Comic Book Guy could have been so much better, too- there was untapped gold there and it seemed like the writers just didn't try hard enough. I think I laughed out loud once, but I don't even remember why. It was pleasant enough, but I don't even have the urge to watch it again, unlike other recent episodes that I want to view three times on Sunday alone. Grade: C-

Nope. We found that out in Pygmoelian, which is why the joke from this episode wiped the smile off my face.

I'm surprised I missed that, considering that my father's name is also Carl Carlson. Pretty cool...

I loved it! Krusty's thing about the bus was great! That fat kid was sooooo funny! BEST EPISODE EVER!!!! Grade: A++++++++++++++++
