Most poignant/touching end to an episode?

Just caught the ep where Principal Skinner is fired, becomes friends with Bart though his re-hiring means they have to go back to being enemies again - the last shots we see are of the Principle walking off down the hall with 'Kick me' taped to his back just as Bart turns and we see the Principal has stuck a 'Teach me' note to his back...

ahhh...

OK, apart from this one and the one where Maggie spends the whole ep refusing to talk but then says something cute in the last frame, can anyone name any other eps that leave you with a nice warm squidgy feeling at the end?

Actually, as an extension to this - which episodes do you reckon have the best / most satisfying endings in general? Just remembered the one (Pyg/moe/lian?) where Moe has plastic surgery, works on a soap opera, then has a hideous accident that strangely rearranges his face to exactly how it looked before the op. The episode closes on Moe wondering why his face didn't become some third ugly face, different from the old and post-op faces... "It don't make no..." he says, as the credits smartly cut him off. Super.

They can get away with terrible episodes as long as they end well and leave you with a smile on your face.

Worse yet, it's not just a syndication problem. My copy of the episode is from the second Fox airing and it has some obnoxious promo over the credits.

As far as the best ending goes, I second "Lisa's Wedding" and add "Separate Vocations" for most touching, BUT the best endings ever IMO are "Bart the Murderer," "Burns Verkaufen der Kraftwerk," and "Bart the Lover."

The end of "Lisa's Pony", where Lisa gets a pony ride from Homer before they walk off hand in hand into the sunset, as Apu notes, "He slept, he stole, he was rude to the customers. Still, there goes the best damned employee a convenience store ever had."

Bart vs. Thanksgiving, when Lisa and Bart make up Homer says grace at their late night Thanksgiving dinner. Or One Fish, Two Fish, Blowfish, Blue Fish. When Marg thinks Homer has died, then realizes Homer is still alive. Either one can bring a tear to my eye sometimes.
