Query: If the Simpsons syndicators removed the episode where Homer uses the men's room at the World Trade Center because they feared it would freak people out, why on earth are they broadcasting the boy-band-episode, which not only has a questionable plot involving military brainwashing, but also has a shot of the World Trade Center next to the Statue of Liberty *and* features the Mad Magazine skyscraper being destroyed by airborne missiles (and falling to the ground in almost the exact same manner as the North Tower)?
At least the "Homer v. New York City" episode is funny.
