Why the writers felt the need to take another pot shot at the show when it's already dead, is beyond me. Although as a Family Guy friend I was still happy to see Peter on the air, even if it was very briefly.

Oh get off your high horse, it was great pop culture reference, one that really mostly simpsons fans would get (or else Family Guy might still be on the air). For a show that is long gone to get that kind of placement, negative or positive, is a tribute more than anything else.

To me, "Family Guy" was funny in a totally bizarre sense. But I thought that it was trying too hard to be controversial. And some of the pot-shots they took really were too offensive.

It was funny, but its not a show that I miss now that it is off the air. If I happened to remember that FG was on TV and I tuned to it, I enjoyed it. But it isn't something that I couldn't wait to watch every Tuesday or Thursday or whenever the hell they showed it. If I watched it, great, if I didn't, no big whoop. ________________________________________________________________
