Yet another tardy capsule submission, I need to get a life. This time it's for "Radio Bart".
Although it sounds like the police officers would fit in the well if they weren't so fat, a circumference of 34 inches is just 10 inches in diameter. I'm not sure even Bart would fit in a well that narrow.

Unless a child is *really* fat, most children would fit that constriction. Indeed, the pants I buy have waist sizes of either 32" or 33". Because of my arms, I wouldn't necessarily fall down a well, but I could quite possibly fit in and get stuck. I'm not about to try empirical research, however. :-)

It's not until they are middle-aged men when they approach "roundness." Regardless, I'm pretty sure there was room at the bottom of the well for Bart to lay down, and he's definitely more than 10" tall. No need for empirical research.

Okay okay okay... I'm just bored enough to respond and throw a wrench in that... We are talking about "Bart", who does happen to be round (in the middle area). Good point about lying down, though. The well must have been wide at the bottom.
