The Simpsons want to go to "Disney World", but they wind up in EPCOT "instead". Isn't EPCOT *part* of Disney World? Toward the end, Homer's climbing the wall to get into Magic Kingdom, also part of Disney World. Maybe they meant "The Simpsons are going to Magic Kingdom!" instead of "The Simpsons are going to Disney World!"

Parts of it are kind of boring, but it does have some really good attractions and definitely worth a visit. When my wife and I went to the Magic Kingdom, MGM Studios, Animal Kingdom and Epcot, the best thing in all the parks was "Honey I shrunk the Audience" at Epcot. When was the last time you were there?

Walt Disney World is the term used for the entire Disney owned complex in Florida. This complex comprises not only The Magic Kingdom, Epcot Center, Disney/MGM Studios, and Animal Kingdom, it also includes all Disney owned hotels and attractions such as Downtown Disney, Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon, etc. So while it is true that The Magic Kingdom and Epcot Center are separate parks (although they are connected by a monorail system) they are both part of the larger Walt Disney World Resort Complex. However it doesn't really matter because The Simpsons did not go to Epcot Center (Yes I do mean Epcot, the EPCOT acronym is no longer used) they went to EFCOT another place entirely.
