In short, some classic, classic humor. But since the writers failed to make any of the characters human, such that we could identify with them and care about them, I will not miss the show once it is gone. (Not that I am advocating its demise, mind you.)

I agree. FG could be real hit-or-miss with its humor, but when it hit, it HIT.
Unfortunately, the Simpsons has become tepid. It's an old show; I'm not sure anything can be done to revive it.
(Someone post Lisa's quote about "characters not having the same impact they once did", please!)
