Who shot Mr. Burns 2?

Do you think that due to some people losing interest in the Simpsons that doing another cliff hanger would renew interest.

Let's face it the summer when we were all waiting to find out who it was, nothing else was spoken about. Everyone was talking about it, and who they thought it was, and well did rule the world, virtually everyone (even non-simpson watchers) knew that Maggie shot Mr. Burns.

Also I think it would be nice to have a cliffhanger, just for something to think about. I'm not saying the cliffhanger has to be someone being shot, but just something.

This is proberbly one of the most serious topics brought up here for I while, yet I know all the answers will be jokes and the quote "Maggie has shot Mr. Burns again!"

ha i was thinking the same.

i think im dreamt (<-- this a word?) that CBG gets abducting in an episode ...not by the big green guys and this wouldnt be the focus of the episode...it would just be noticable in the background or whatever.....then sad as the may seem, CBG isnt seen for a while...but oh think!

=v= Well, when it comes to losing and renewing interest, I'll take quality over gimmickry any day. Part of what made the first "Who Shot Mr. Burns?" so good was that it was a very good *parody* of the gimmickry.

They could do a parody of JFK, where Maggie was just a patsy for the real shooter on the fence on the grassy knole? Who? Snake but you don't find out until the next season.
