Time to update the FAQ as to guest stars who are now dead:

im pretty sure Jonathan Melvoin (touring keyboard player for SP who died of a overdose) wasnt on the simpsons, and only Billy, D'arcy, James, and Jimmy were in it, or were credited with doing voices. he wasnt a full member of the band either. Scott

Well, Dee Dee Ramone just died... the Ann Landers character, yes, but not as a guest star, which is a whole seperate list. As was mentioned, the Smashing Pumpkin "member" who died was a tour keyboard player, and not on the Simpsons.

The current list reads: Audrey Meadows, George Fenneman, Linda McCartney, Jim Varney, Tito Puente, Steve Allen, Joseph Calleja, Werner Klemperer, Joey Ramone, Jack Lemmon [http://snpp.com/guides/departed.html]

Which means that the actual updates should read: - George Harrison - John Entwistle - Dee Dee Ramone (not credited as appearing on the show.) - Ron Taylor [http://us.imdb.com/Name?Taylor,+Ron+(II)] (Bleeding Gums Murphy) - Stephen Jay Gould (no one has mentioned yet...)

I think that is everyone. I feel like I am forgetting, but someone will likely help me out.

Was Dee Dee Ramone on the show? Was he credited? If not, does anyone know why?

Actually, Joe C is short for Joseph Calleja. He is already on the list. He was in Kill the Alligator and Run.

I think that the list is complete... it doesn't include regular Phil Hartman, or "also starring's" like Doris Grau.

I'm still trying to understand what that "pour a 40 on the curb" thing was all about.
