Notes for HABF19 (Moe'n'a Lisa)

Not much to say this week. After last week, almost anything had to be better, and I liked the idea, but something still seemed a little off. I'm used to thinking of Lisa as pretty adult mentally; maybe the fact that she *is* only eight explains her quick emotional shifts both when Moe betrays her and then when he apologizes, so that could be it. I was also hoping to see more of Moe's poetry (Lisa did suggest he had enough fragments to make an epic!), and the syrup tasting outtake actually made me think a slight "the Simpsons are going to Vermont!" subplot might be fun. But I *guess* Homer falling down a fire escape is an ample comical replacement.

DYN: ...we know him as State Comptroller, but Mr. Atkins apparently does live in Springfield?

Oh really? Funny, I didn't see it like that (as compared to, say, the fire escape), but more of an extended joke about Homer being a competent syrup connoisseur instead of one of something more "cultured" (ha ha!). But one man's rake scene...
