"Day of the Jackanapes", which I like more every time I see it. It's the best Sideshow Bob episode since "Cape Feare", IMHO, and one of the best episodes of the past few seasons. It was written by Al Jean, so the quality shouldn't come as any surprise.
Al Jean also wrote the episode where Homer runs the day-care center, another one that seems better with repeat viewings. There are two really great lines that I remember: Ralph watches Homer's knee wound heal over his hand, and Homer tells him, "It knows you're afraid." And then, Arnie Pie in the Sky, replying to a question from Kent Brockman, tells him in a really nasty tone, "I can't see through metal, Kent."
I liked that episode too. Not the best Sideshow Bob ever, but still well done.
"Children of a Lesser Clod", one of the best of Season 12 in my opinion.
"Fear of Flying". It has been forever since I've seen this episode. The best part was when "Homer", in a costume and with a fake accent, goes into Moe's, is thrown out, the real Homer walks by, then chases a dog with a puffy tail.

Yeah...I watch tapes almost daily...coupled with the reruns...they all kinda blend together until I see a commercial for Crystal Pepsi or a sports update that tells me the Sabres and the Stars are in the playoffs.
