So the recent CNN article (http://www.cnn.com/2002/SHOWBIZ/TV/04/30/simpsons.reut/index.html) implies that the series may be coming to a close. But I'm guessing that there are at least two more seasons already in production and probably one or two more seasons already paid for by Fox. Does anyone know the details of their current production status and contracts?

I think the cast is committed through season 15 (plus two possible movies), so I'd guess that 2004 is the soonest that the show would end.
