I work for very big stuffy corporation.

The latest trend is to include some short profound saying after your e-mail signature.

Favorites seem to be people like Edison, Gandhi, Henry Ford, etc.

Please give me some cerebral Simpson quotes. I was going to suggest ones from Homer but it might suit my purpose even better if it were from Montgomery Burns or one of the other charters.

Thanks in advance

Too lazy to search for your own quotes, eh? How about:

"I'm old! Gimme gimme gimme!" (Abe Simpson)

Or perhaps this conversation sums it up:

Larry Burns: Ah, relax. I don't wanna work. I'm so lazy, I took lessons on
a
       player piano.
Homer: Wow, that's really lazy.
Larry: Lazy? You're not kiddin'. Why, I'm like a rug on Valium, I'm
       talkin' lazy.
Homer: Soo lazy.

Seriously though, for C.M. Burns quotes you might try the thread in this newsgroup, "Who writes the dialogue for Mr. Burns?", from about a week ago. Good luck on the sig search.

Homer: [sickly sweet] Oh, look at me! I'm making people happy!
I'm the Magical Man from Happy-Land, in a gumdrop house on
Lollipop Lane! [leaves the room, slamming the door]
[pokes his head back in] Oh, by the way, I was being sarcastic.

sometimes the only way you can feel good about yourself is by
making someone else look bad. And I'm tired of making other
people feel
          good about themselves!

Bart: Hey Lis, whaddya call those guys in chess that don't matter.
Lisa: Well, a blockaded bishop is of little value, but I think you're
         referring to a pawn.
Bart: Right. I am a pawn.

Lisa, if you dont like your job you dont strike. You just go in there every day and do it really half-assed. Thats the American way. (Homer Simpson, can't remember which episode off-hand)
