Comic Book Guy. He's sarcastic, smart, owns his own business, and is not concerned about looks. IMHO, I think that he is the most believable character on the Simpsons.
On to another topic. In the world of the Simpsons, Blacks are black, Latinos are brown, but Whites are yellow. What up wit dat? (Not sure about Asians).

A friend of mine used to believe that making them "yellow" brought out a reflexive (unconscious) sense of sympathy from the viewer - as if the Simpsons had a skin disease, turning their skin yellow and the natural/primitive response from the viewer was to feel sorry for them and thus helping the show's success. (Although I don't think he meant that the creators were conscious of this fact when making them yellow.)

If there skin was red, it would imply anger, sexual stimulation or a sunburn. Angry people attract attention, sexually stimulated people attract attention, and with sunburn you'd get the same yellow-skin sympathy thing.
