Live Action "Simpsons" Movie

I know that this has been a commonly suggested theme, so I decided I would contribute to this. Here are my suggestions for who would portray whom were there a live action "Simpsons" movie: Homer Simpson - Bruce Willis Marge Simpson - Bo Derek At the SNPP: Lenny - Richard Kind (from "Spin City") Carl - Tim Meadows (from "SNL") Mr. Burns - Gary Oldman Mr. Smithers - Al Franken At Springfield Elementary: Principal Skinner - Vince Vaughn (Skinner is based upon Norman Bates from "Psycho", so...) Superintendent Chalmers - Jason Alexander Mrs. Krabappel - Julia Roberts Groundskeeper Willy - Mike Myers At the Police Department: Chief Wiggum - Louie Anderson Lou (the black cop) - Tracy Morgan (also from "SNL")

I have to agree. There were some good suggestions there but cartoons should never, ever be made into live action movies. Didn't we learn anything from the Flintstones Movie??

The difference is that the Flintstones was based on a cartoon far inferior to The Simpsons. Naturally it made for a dreadful film. Still, I can't see how a live action Simpsons film could work. There are too many nuances that could not translate to live action.

Yeah...I wasn't even going to acknowledge the second one. "Viva Rock Vegas" was it? Yuck!

I wouldn't want to see it either. But. I do like to make comparisons to people in real life and those in the simpsons. That�s part of the fun. When me and my friends are out at the bar more times than you'd want to think, we find people who look or act, sound just like a character from the show.

So with that said. Please humor the thought for the sake of humor instead sending off a bunch of stupid fucking snuh's, ghuhs and so on.
