When Bart goes to vist Milhouse, right after the wedgie Milhouse leans over and whispers says: "I'll always love you Bart," before shouting "Springfield baby! Springfield baby!"
I could have sworn I saw a similar line in a movie somewhere. Anyone know?
Well, one place you didn't see it was in the episode "Last Exit to Springfield", as that line is from "Milhouse Doesn't Live Here Anymore". :-)

Someone told me that there's a similar scene in Kubrick's "Full Metal Jacket" where Pvt. Pyle, the recruit played by Vincent D'Onofrio is about to get hazed. I saw the movie but barely remember it.

Has the script, but there's no mention of dialog, though my friend swears that Pvt. Joker says to him "this is only a dream" before Pyle's beaten with soap socks. Not quite the same as "I love you, Bart" but pretty much in the same vein of human emotion. I guess I'll have to rent the movie to see for myself.
Of course, Milhouse's denial of Bart had parallels to Judas and the other disciples but I still think I've seen that exact scene played out in a movie, which is pretty standard fare for the Simpsons. Take Dr. Zaius, for example. "Planet of the Apes" doesn't even sound so strange for a Broadway play anymore, given what they've already dragged onto the stage kicking and screaming.
