I saw in the guide tonight that the Discovery Channel actually had a show called "When Buildings Collapse". The Discovery Channel must be hugely hard-up for ideas if they build an hour-long show around a Simpsons gag.

I've got the thing that's called Nader love. I've got a wave in the air...Nader love. -- A. Levine Ralph Nader ought to be on The Simpsons because he is so hot and sexy. -- dog

I couldn't believe it when I saw it. But it was true. The best part was when the building fell down.

AnonymousNathaniel Siegler

Well, man loves his buildings. But what happens when the buildings say NO MORE?

(I bet Discovery's WBC wasn't one-gazillionth as funny as The Simpsons'.)

I saw part of the show. There was some Lord Autumnbottom scientist type on there who was the author of some book called "When Buildings Fall Down", or something like that.

I heard that they're considering adding reruns of "The Krusty the Clown Show" and "Springfield Squares" to their schedule.

Since it's the Discovery Channel, oughtn't they to be covering important scientific revelations like angel fossils and three-eyed fish?

I'm sure the producers were brainstorming for ideas while watching the Simpsons on TV.

Yeah, that's the ticket!

did you see that ad for "ultimate gluttons" or somethng on fox? thurs night i think. gonna watch it out of sick delight.. sounds like something homer could do (recall he ate 7 lbs. of fudge & a month's supply of low protein gruel). primetime has hit a new low.

now son, they do a lot of quality programming too.......

Richard M.P. Piggly Hogswine

Only on Fox will they have a show celebrating one of the "Seven Deadly Sins!" Mayonaise....nope! Eggs....nope! The only way I'm watching is if someone eats lots and lots of PUSSY!

AnonymousRichard M.

That would be the LUST show. Okay, there was a Greed, and now there's a Gluttony, knowing Fox they most likely will jump right to Lust. Which was the most stomach-turning killing in Se7en.

I thought LUST and VANITY were both covered in Temptation Island...?

I wouldn't know for sure because I never actually watched it, but I'm guessing I'm not too far off...

He couldn't even finish a 16lb steak!

One of my favourite Homer food scenes though, is when he is mourning his pet lobster Pinchy, while eating him! :)
