unnerving episode - frying game

Didn't anyone else get the creeps seeing Homer in the electric chair?

Yeah. Good suspense there - I figured they wouldn't kill off such a main character, though I'm sure many people on a.t.s wouldn't have minded to see Homer gone for good! And it wasn't a Great Money Caper-esque contrived end, either, so that was good. Take that, fox!

I'm sure someone will soon post a list of how many times we've seen the electric chair on OFF. Just offhand I can think of two: a) Snake is in a solar-powered chair and complains about how long it's taking b) Mayor Quimby in the chair at the abandoned prison and doesn't realize the power is still connected. Burns cuts off the power at the last second.
