Well, that was allright. I liked the Hoo Hah Hee guys or whatever they were
forgotten already
Marge is a mother figure. I gave up on my Oedipus complex years ago.
Yeah - right
I hadn't - I had no idea what it was going to be about. All I know is the Simpsons come on on Sundays, and if it's a rerun, I've seen it already, so I actually look forward to new episodes.
I'm sure next week will be better - trying to think positive
Me, as ANY show's plot that based around a botched surgery, gone comedically wrong, is a turd, IMO and trying to pad this silly 'plot' with a sub-plot just makes it a polished turd.

Who could??? Come on, gratuitously sexual physical "humor" as the main plot line? A sight-gag that does not in the slightest bit mesh with Marge's character...and this early in the season? --I fear for what is to come. Marge with breast implants? The very idea is offensive. I don't know how they allowed this one to get past the "drawing board" stage, let alone "developed" it into a full-fledged episode.
"Marge" is the mother and the wife. She is in most ways a parody of the traditional housewife role model that TV has been serving up since the '50s. The whole family is supposed to be a twisted version of the "nuclear family." Making Marge a sex object is just pandering to the lowest common denominator. It's catering to the low-class, base, Jackass-watching, no-taste vulgarians who think Howard Stern is a genious and that Eminem is wholesome, quality entertainment. That kind of stuff had its place on the Family Guy, but it's not what the Simpsons is supposed to be about. Where's the sophisticated humor? Where's the wit? Where are the clever in-jokes and double-entendres (the non-sexual ones as opposed to "Now chew through my ball-sack")? Where's the social and political commentary?
Hey, who needs all that stuff when you've got Marge unable to close cupboard doors because of her enhanced "thingies?" Uh-huh-huh-huh. Heh-heh, heh-heh-heh.
I suppose we could expect this kind of attitude from someone with a signature line that reads "rubber buns and liquor."
