whats with simpsons safari?

k, well the only time i actually saw the episode was when i was.. ummm, under slight influence of... uummm, something u might find on a JAMACIAN safari. and, well, the episode was, well, confusing to say the least, not 2 mention trippy as hell. what i want 2 know is, is it supposed 2 b like that? and i want 2 watch it again, normal, and then not, just 2 take another look b cause i cant remember very much, except when they are eaten by a flower, and homer pushes it open like a door. bart asks homer how he did that and homer says,"ITS A FLOWER!!" fucked me up. n e help?

Were you under the influence at the time you wrote this as well?
