My favorite donut reference from the Simpsons comes from the "Who Shot Mr. Burns, Part II" pre-episode show with Adam Walsh that was a takeoff on "America's Most Wanted". Instead of the usual AMW backdrop of important looking people hurrying around an office with paperwork in their hands, there was a bunch of loafers sitting around eating donuts.

Stolen Truck Leaves Long Doughnut Trail Fri Mar 29, 7:10 AM ET

SLIDELL, La. (Reuters) - Two people left a 15-mile-long trail of doughnuts after they took a Krispy Kreme truck from a parking lot and fled, police said on Thursday.

The truck was parked at a convenience store with its rear doors open and engine running while a deliveryman carried doughnuts inside, said Slidell police spokesman Rob Callahan.

Two suspects hopped in the truck and sped off to the nearby town of Lacombe, with doughnuts spilling out along the way, he said.

They abandoned the truck when they were spotted by police responding to reports of a dangerous driver who was losing his doughnuts. Passenger Rose Houk, 31, was captured, but the driver, whose name was not released, ran away.

Houk told police they had been smoking crack cocaine for several hours before the incident, which occurred Wednesday, said Callahan.

Their motive for taking the Krispy Kreme truck was unclear.

"I don't know if it was a need for transportation of if they just had the munchies," he said.

Why does Homer like too many donuts? Above all when he is working because in his house he never eat anything.

He eats too much donuts because he needs donuts to live, is like water, if you don't drink water you die. So for him the beer and donuts are the most important thing for survive. He doesn't eat donuts at home because Marge doesn't let him because he is too fat.

He eats donuts because he is American and eating donuts is like going bed or playing baseball.

American is an animal of habits, and eat donuts is one of these habits.

He doesn't do it in his home because: of his wife and he only eat it when he is "working".

People when is working use energy and it needs to be replenished, how can you do it? Eating donuts like Homer.
