Do any of you in the US or UK get to see a cartoon series called "Quads", a Canadian / Australian coproduction that centres around a wheelchair-bound man and his friends? I got the DVD out of the library a while back, and it said in the 'extra features' stuff that the whole thing is done in Macromedia flash, on a computer. Not bad animation, either, but very different from either The Simpsons or South Park.

Probably the most *overrated* animated series. It has its moments, but I don't really think it's a series for the ages.
A cult classic ("cult" in large part because Fox made it that way), and one which delivered some of its finest episodes in its last season.
I've seen it four times, and one of those was "The Simpsons Did It" episode.
Never seen it.
This is a generally good show, although maybe it's a bit too earnest and low-key for its own good. Incidentally, this is the show that can most easily be translated to live-action; I sometimes wonder why they bother to animate it at all.
Not bad, but it's been a while since I've seen it.
This was a hit in our lab, but the original comic strip was somehow funnier. Still, I have the DVD box set for this show.

It may be missing the heart of some other shows listed here, but it's still damn funny in a different sense. I wasn't too thrilled with the 3rd production season, esp. the direction they've taken with Stewie, but I am looking quite forward to the new season (4ACX? or are they getting a new three-letter code) and American Dad.*
I rank above Family Guy (approximately equal with OFF), probably in part because I'm the kind of nerd that appreciates 95% of the jokes and it feels kind of tailor-made for guys like me. Not to mention that like The Simpsons it has a much higher emotional aspect than you'd expect from a cartoon, and also a kickass theme.*
Kind of like FG in that you don't want to watch it with your parents in the room (no matter how old you get) - it's also got a little similarity to The Simpsons in the kind of subversive, adults-know-nothing feeling many recent episodes (season 5 or 6+) have taken.
Haven't seen it. Didn't that get cancelled or something? Not that I'm passing judgment - I just have no clue.
It doesn't thrill me and I don't make a specific point to watch it, but when I'm gearing up for Sunday nights in front of the tube I usually catch it if I can. Thus, I've only seen bits of the last few seasons, and it seems like a high quality show, but it isn't enough for me that I'm making any more efforts to watch.
Another winner in my book...about 22.5 of the 23 episodes are just jam-packed with laughs (and more) - I think this, like Futurama, is the kind of show you either love or don't. Perhaps the randomness of the references, gags, and flashbacks contributes to this?*
Haven't seen it. I'm told it's funny, but I keep forgetting to check the Comedy Central schedule.
*I've got all the seasonal DVDs they've put out so far for these shows. I think TV DVDs make up about 1/4th of my collection.

I didn't really care for it when it aired on Fox (maybe because it was pre-empted for goddamn football just about every week), but enjoy it now that Cartoon Network airs it.

Good at times, great at times, bad at times, horrid at times. THe fact that they can make a show so quickly and refer to current material make some of the episodes they do dated very fast. best ones are the ones that reliy*sic* on their own sick minds rather then using current events

Ok, neither like or dislike. One poster said it would be the best to translate into live action, (s)he dosn't know why they don't. I had thought about this in context of the Simpsons, why is the Simpsons so much better then live action. one big reason, the sheer expanse of it. There are somewhere in the range of 50-100 *if i really felt like adding up all the chars who have make more then one apperance i'm sure i could give you an exact number.... in fact i'd bet on it...* simpsons characters known by name and personality, from homer simpson, to jimbo jones, to comic book guy and squeaky voiced teen. They can go to from home to the plant to moes to krusty's stage without a hitch. You can't do this in live action, you can't make a world, only a space. That is why they couldn't make King into live action, you would take away the abality to create a real world
Thought it was a great jab at the movie industry and the usual constant recycled garbage they peddle on us. Often times fast paced with alot of inside laughs *where your not actually l(in)ol but your mind says hehe and you smile*

I do however think some are missing.... Duckman, which i watch whenever i can stay up untill 4 am on a sunday/monday morn and enjoy. Aqua teen hunger force, Sealab 2020 and Harvey birdman attorney at law all 3 of which usually crack me up. I assume because all the shows *exception bob god and devil* are either fox owned, com cent reruned or com cent alone is the reason the poster left those last 3 out
