To all simpsons fans! Sign this petition!

Hi everyone,

This is aimed at anyone/everyone who received The Simpsons on The Comedy Network (based in Canada, but I think you can pick it up off of satellite networks). Basically, they've decided to start doing what they call "squeezebacks" which is when they replace the credits sequence with one of their own so they can show previews of other shows instead in kind of a split-screen thing.

I'm surprised the crafts don't kick network butts on this. SciFi is really bad, as is USA. Even with a 60" screen, it's completely unreadable when they do that. My long-time theory has been we'll eventually have programs in one quadrant and the other three will be nonstop ads, promos and other crap. The "bugs" were only the first step. Then they got animated and started promoing the "next on" programs.

And secondly, The Comedy Network sucks. I couldn't believe they started doing that earlier this week. Well, they lost a viewer. I'll watch my video tapes of the episodes instead of their network.

Global does it too in their Sunday night episodes.

Global is not as bad though because we at least get to see sometimes when something interesting happens. With The Comedy Network, nothing. All the credits are lost and in doesn't matter what interesting thing is going on during the credits, they're gone completely. It ruins the episode.
