the teacher, being the leader...Had total control over the cats, her followers. however lisa appeared untaimed...

Oft times eastern european trainers are so serious about winning and training they will do anything to "motivate" thier pupils... Even resort to threatening to kill pets...

And the sad thing is, they do some crazy things that i wont get into here... Some things quite disgusting.

same thing as in 2F05 "Lisa on Ice" (when they play hockey) and Homer says to Bart something like, "and since you won, i'll hold up my end of the agreement. here's your turtle back, alive and well" [and he hands him his turtle]. it's just a total obsession with winning that coaches/parents will actually threaten their kids in order to "motivate" them to perform. sickening.
