They're not jewish, so there's no religious reason they should be. Medical, possibly? Homer claims he's a Hindu (wasn't it) in some episode (that some other buff will state the name and number of) - but I don't think they ritually circumcise...
Circumcision is also a part of Islam, you know.

Actually if you did some research, female circumcision is not a tenet of Islam.
However, there are those who use religion as a tool of control, and use it as an excuse to commit barbaric acts (female circumcision, flying planes into buildings, the crusades, et cetera...).
Do some research before you widen the gap even more.

Debatable. Circumcision does give health benefits; reduced infection rates in the dessert and tropics, lower transmision of HIV. I note that circumcised guys like me often piss straighter.
"Female Genital Castration" which can go as far as removing the inner labia and clitoris and involves flesh not just skin is quite a different.
Calling it 'mutilation' is hysterical. Parents should decide either way. Its a simple decision and doesn't need to be hyped.

You're right, it doesn't deserve to be hyped. That's how it became popular with non-Jewish parents in the first place, because it was hyped as a way of curbing masturbation. Anyway, the "benefits" sound, to me, like justifications after the fact. I think it's an outdated tradition. It was only "healthier" when showers weren't available. If, when the kid's old enough, he decides for himself to have it done, then he can go right ahead.
