Yeardley Smith guest on network show

I've been watching the reruns of Sports Night on Comedy Central. Terrific show. I can't believe it got cancelled after 1 1/2 seasons. I didn't start watching it until into the second season.

Anyhoo, the episode they aired last night was from the very beginning of the series (1999) and Yeardley Smith had a guest role as a network attorney.

She was cute. If you close your eyes, it sounds like a strange Simpsons episode.

And since i don't watch anything live, I taped it I haven't taped over it........yet

I noticed that too. I remember watching her before I got into the Simpsons, when she was doing Herman's Head. I didn't get into Sports Night until just a couple of months ago, but I agree--a great show that never should not have been cancelled. You know, there seems to be a pattern here...I NEVER seem to get into entertainment at the beginning of its run...oh well, interesting pattern, I guess.
