So in the spelling bee episode, Paris is no more after a giant something.

Anywho, the terribly creepy spelling-bee host late announces he is from something called the Paris Revue. I guess they won't be meeting in France this year!

I wonder if a wizard destroyed Paris.

The Paris Review was founded in 1953, and Plimpton has headed it since 1954. Even if there isn't a Paris now, there was when the Paris Review was founded.

There isn't a Sidd Finch either, but that didn't stop Plimpton from fooling people (including my grandfather) in a interesting 1985 Sports Illustrated article...
