I have asked Troy McClure once but he never game me a STRAIGHT answer...... Are they lovers or not? I wounder what would be homer's reaction if he finds out that they are......

I think it was near the end of last season. I only saw it once, so I claim that it wasn't rerun, but I suppose I could have missed a Simpsons episode once in my life. I too can't find it on snpp. Must have been a subplot. How did "Weekend at Burnsie's" end? I've eliminated most of the other episodes listed on snpp.

yeah "half decent proposal" is a pretty weak episode.

as far as carl and lenny, it hints that lenny is in love with carl, but that carl isn't too comfortable with that (lenny carved a mt. rushmore sized statue of carl, but "they haven't discussed it much"). but at the end, carl does come to save lenny, and there are 2 romantic reunions in artie ziff's helicopter - although you don't see c&l kiss or anything.
