You could just as easily have written "according to FOX"
'excellent'.
Thanks.
Now that's silly. WHy would they want to break tradition and start before Halloween?

My wife expressed the same sentiment. As I told her, do not believe you will see the THOH episode in October. Of late it has been one or two episodes in September, then football-football-football-football, then the THOH in early November.

They went back to starting the season in September last season, where it was two new episodes, then a repeat, then baseball baseball baseball, then THOH in early November.
This year, Fox is sharing post-season baseball with Turner. The only Sunday where there will definitely be a baseball pre-emption (assuming no rainouts) is October 29, which is when World Series Game 4 will be played. On the other hand, the only other Sunday game scheduled to be on Fox is on October 22, and this would only happen if the National League Championship Series needs a Game 7.
However, you're right about THOH; since the Sunday before Halloween is a baseball date (and because THOH episodes are so popular that Fox wants to save them for November ratings purposes), it won't air until November 5.

All of this is irrelevant. The new season starts when the KABF episodes (including "N is for Nerder") are broadcast around December. Everything before that (including THOH) is still the 18th season.
Football? Is that thing still around? Why don't they put it on computers, and get it off of FOX?
According to http://www.snpp.com/episodes/AABF09, the proper way to prepare for the new TV season, which is 21 exciting days away, is to lock the door, unplug the phone, and tape and cork your domestic animals. But I personally do not endorse any of that behavior.
I can't wait to see the 1st episode of "America's Funniest Tornadoes", which probably won't be funny anymore after global warming makes them worse than they already are.
There is one new show were some guy is "livin' with an African- American, a Semite-American, and a woman American there, and I'm glad, I loves youse all! I love everybody!"
If mid-season is "just a dumping ground for second-rate shows that weren't good enough for the fall schedule", then what is going to be on the fall schedule? Something worse, probably.
Is "Admiral Baby" on before or after OFF?
Uh-oh spaghettios.

Don't Forget the Lyrics got added to the fall schedule, and it bumped New Amsterdam to mid-season. Your call as to which is worse.

Reality programming always worse than scripted series.

Valid point. TV is supposed to be used as an escape from reality. Superman, Batman (he's a scientist, BTW), Dallas, Seinfeld, etc. Now they have reality TV shows. Why are they popular? Because people don't want fantasy from their TV. They want to see the other person's reality that they covet. Instead of escaping from this problem by watching fantasies on TV, they watch the reality that they covet.

Or a reality that it makes them feel good to watch because it's worse than their own and at least theirs is better than that...
