Mimi Pond

Someone here recently was asking about "Mimi Pond," who wrote the Christmas episode. I read an interview with Al Jean where he said that the Christmas show was written by Matt Groening, Sam Simon, Al Jean and Mike Reiss, and they used "Mimi Pond" as their collective pseudonym. (I'm not sure why, since the same four writers all took credit on "The Telltale Head," but there we are.)
