Normal Ideas:

"Selma and Louis'" Selma's new boyfriend, and boss Louis, at the DMV is her new hearthrob, but when the fiscal belt needs tightning, he lays off Pattie and that causes Pattie take legal action against the DMV for wrongful termination.

"The Running of the Parents" Homer and Marge win a trip for two to sunny Hawaii, but when they arrive there, disaster strikes as they're kidnapped, presumed dead, try to escape their abductors, and try to make it back to civilization before an F4 hurricane strikes the island. All this before their six days, seven nights package is over.

"Like a Clown Outta Hell" Due to a dispute over his contract with the network, Krusty threatens to take his show to a different network out of Springfield, causing the children of Springfield to riot.

"The Simpsons: Episode 1" In three shorts, we examine Bart's first day in the fourth grade and his first encounter with Edna; Lisa's first day of band camp between the first and second grade; and Maggie's first run-in with Gerald.

THoH Ideas:

"The Mommy Returns" Marge is possesed by the soul of Cleopatra and tries to kill the family and seduce Ned Flanders since he looks a little like one of her Egyptian Lovers from the past life.

"Dead End Dr." The family makes a wrong turn and the car ends up breaking down in front of a spooky old mansion. Fleeing the approaching storm, they stumble into the old house only to be captured by a mad scientist and used in twisted experiments.

"Lisa the Human" Lisa awakens to find herself the only human on Rigel 7 and she's treated like a circus freak. Using her cunning, she tries to escape back to Earth.

Anyway, if any of my ideas were used, I'd be more flattered than upset.

Sorry, I feel like nitpicking. Hurricanes are not measured using the Fujita (F) scale, only tornadoes. The F scale is a way of estimating a tornado's wind speed based on the type and amount of damage it does. The wind speed of hurricanes is routinely measured by aircraft and therefore a scale of estimation is not needed...actual wind speed is used.

For those of you who like to learn something new everyday.

Kevin = Useless Prick (sorry, I also feel like nitpicking)

Well since you have no reason to insult me since the post I was responding to was not yours then I'll assume you were calling yourself a useless prick:

If you're going to insult people without cause you should at least have the courtesy to use your name so they don't have to go look it up themselves. And don't bother going and finding my address and phone number and posting it in spite...I couldn't care less, it's easily accessible public information anyway (just like yours).

People, please! I made a screw-up in weather terms, so what? Life goes on and there's far worse things to get upset over.

yes, yes I know. I just happened to have too much info in my head about that stuff from an old geology class so I thought I'd share. I certainly didn't mean it as any kind of insult to you...but he felt the need to call me a name for no reason and I just couldn't let that go.

Ironically, hurricanes are measured using the Saffir-Simpson scale, 1-5 with 5 being the worst. Hurricane Andrew was a Category 4 hurricane on the Saffir-Simpson scale when it stuck south Florida in 1992.

More useless nitpicking. :)

Kevin MaddenJames Gennero

You are right, I had forgotten about that...but it's still very different. The intensity of a tornado is based solely on estimation (the estimated wind speed is determined by the damage), the wind speed of a hurricane is measured, but they are categorized based on the similarity of damage caused by hurricanes in a certain wind speed range.

And I'm sure that some part of that statment is still wrong in some way...so I've learned my lesson about nitpicking. And I'll stop now because no one cares about this.
