Bart and Lisa go on a school camp in the woods and have an encounter with Bigfoot.

Replace 'Bart' with 'Kirk', 'Lisa' with 'Spock', 'school' with 'space', 'camp' with 'mission', 'woods' with 'universe', and 'Bigfoot' with 'lifeforms' and you have a Star Trek episode. The writers shouldn't just rehash 30-plus-year-old material.
