Since Halloween is just around the corner, I thought I would ask the classic questions:

I wasn't talking about the Simpsons. I was commenting on the original writer's post about Halloween. And the Halloween episodes are for that year's celebration not the next year, so they are a few days late not 52 weeks early.

They do air it before Halloween, almost 52 weeks early. YOu may see it otherwise, hence you must be from the camp who always grumps about it being aired late. It's that grumping that made me see it the other way, that they merely air it really really early.

Now, you thought talking about the upcoming Treehouse was too early now, six months early. But if the show can air the episode almost a year early, then six months early is well within reason.

So your point or glass half empty or half full is not valid.

By the way the glass is half full when liquid is being poured into it half-way, and half empty when it is half-drunk. It has nothing to do with one's outlook on life or anything else, just a statement of fact.

But they no longer run the "Halloween special" before Halloween.

Which is why everyone gripes about it airing "after Halloween".

A different perspective, as I said already, has it that it does air before Halloween, just almost a whole year early.

No, the line is about perspective. Some will see a glass with some liquid, and say "it's half full". Others will look at that very same glass with some liquid and say "it's half empty".

YOu can't tell by looking at the glass whether it was filled to the brim before someone drank from it, or that it was merely filled half way.
