Why do you say "according to the official Simpsons site"? Is there some sort of controversy over what was actually the first episode? I've seen this listed as the first episode before, but I always thought something else came first.

Right. The reason Some Enchanted Evening took so long to air is because they had to redo most of it, because the animation came back really bad.

Simpsons Roasting was the first produced wasn't it. And Some Enchanted Evening was first aired. Either thats right or its exactly the opposite of that.

Homer also dresses up like Santa in order to steal the Funzos from everybody's houses.
