(4/21) Well, at least they apologized!

The only thing I can give them for this episode is the fact that they at least apologized, in lyric form, at the end of the show.

I'm looking forward to seeing the 'Moe gets a cell phone' episode. Should be fun!

They've taken this whole satire of making fun of themselves a bit too far. It's starting to truly seem as if they realize these episodes suck and they're trying to get away with it by apologizing or making fun of themselves.

However, in all honesty, this isn't bad FOR a clip show. It's certainly better than "All Singing, All Dancing," and better in my opinion than "Another Simpsons Clip Show" as well. If it didn't have so many damn clips from the Scully era of "Jerkass Homer" and lame celebrity appearances, it might have been quite good actually. I also think if they had stuck with the Forrest Gump thing through the whole episode it could've been a blast, the first act was the best part and once the Friar's Club sequence started the episode went downhill. The "We Didn't Start the Fire" near-parody was sorta funny too, aside from the aforementioned apology line, and Kang and Kodos are a welcome addition to any episode. But it's not nearly as good as "So It's Come to This: A Simpsons Clip Show."

I'd give this episode a C+ overall.
