I thought of this last night.
The mountie tells Homer to leave the tower in Toronto. Homer than says something to the effect of "Not even for a US dollar?". Sounds a lot like those 10-10-220 phone commercials where Terry Bradshaw and his football cronies argue over dollars. I'm sure those lazy animators didn't have this in mind, though.
maybe so, but I think they were getting at the fact that they seem to treasure US currency up there.

I think they were getting at the fact that the US dollar is worth more than the Canadian dollar. If he exchanged the US dollar he would get like $1.50 Canadian (I don't know the exact rate...it's probably not that much, but you get the point)
