The Tick

Anyone watch this show? I LOVED it. I think Patrick Warburton is the perfect choice for the leading role (When I heard about the live action, I picked him to do the role...hehe, I'm good). Arthur seemed well chosen too. I loved the animated series and was wondering what fellow Simpsons people thought of the live action version of this show. Are they going to try this with the Simpsons someday? IMO, I hope not...it might kill OFF...

I thought it worked--but it definitely couldn't for OFF. The Jimmy Carter plot was great, though.

I want to know why the had to change American Maid, and Die Fledermaus' (sp?) names? Also what's with them making out? American Maid despises DF. Sewer Urchin was one of my favorite characters, and The Mad Bomber What Bombs At Midnight was pretty fun too.

Maybe I'm just too much of a purist in everything, but it just couldn't touch the cartoon. It's not *bad* on its own merits, but I just can't watch it without thinking about how much better the original was.

Oh I prefer the cartoon more, but this has potential. I'm willing to go along for the ride and have a great time doing so.
