Ok. So, I've never written a review before, but here it goes.
Tonight's episode was interesting to say the least. I mean there were certain parts that got a laugh, the original dance (the one he did at the carnival) wasn't bad and was done in typical Homer style. I also liked the one where he was in his living room and moon Lisa. It's become kind of a running gag how she doesn't question the fact the her father pants are again around his ankles. I still get a kick out of that. The reveal of CBG's name was stunning, (who saw that coming?) I really liked the basic idea of the episode, but there were a lot of parts that left me feeling cold. Did it seem to anyone else like jerkass homer was back? I mean, all those supposed 'victory dances' could have been made very funny, but instead they were just mean. The whole episode was really gory, between the rude dancing and Ned's films. And by the time it was all over it felt like the episode hadn't done or said anything in particular, but had just been thrown together. All in all, I think the premise was good, and the beginning was alright, but it could have been a lot better. Instead of being a "Hail Mary Pass" I think this episode was a fumble.
