I don't even get why they can't just releaes them all at the same time... All of the episodes are already recorded, don't they just need to compile them onto a CD?

and for those who say they just want the eps well my anser is "you have televisions don't you? i know the "they don't show the old ones" well read the ep guides and ask friends for their tapes. I and am sure others out there are willing to wait for each set and I think I speak for at least some when I say "i buy the sets for the extras AND because i love the show. if they did start realeasing the season box sets with no extras or comentarys i would not buy them as i have all the eps already.

IGN recently did an interview with Al Jean, and he said the gap between 3 and 4 will probably be similar to that between 2 and 3 -- about a year, so don't hold your breath. He said his first priority is the show, and that the DVDs can come out "anytime." He also said that this would be the last one he was heavily involved in so seasons 5 and 6 could be faster, depending on who is doing the commentary.
