Who invented the Glory Hole?

Dooes anyone have the line about the invention of the Glory Hole from the ep with the dolphins???

We already discussed this. Someone pointed out that "Glory Hole" is a term from the coal mining industry that refers to the entrance to a mine. I pointed out that I saw it being used to describe the entrances to construction sites. I recently mentioned that here in Boston, with the Big Dig going on, there are a lot of boarded up areas along Atlantic Avenue in downtown Boston that have entrance doors labeled "Glory Hole #<whatever>". There was one next to the Federal Reserve Bank near South Station a few months back. The sign has since been removed.

I am pretty sure that the term's use in mining and construction predates it's other usages.
