Is Marge's mom still alive?

I ask this because: what if she was cremated and Homer was trusted with her ashes?

She hasn't died, therefore is still alive.

Homer would put it on a shelf and leave it there.

There isn�t any episode where Marge�s mom died so she is still alive. You think so because Marge�s mom appears in the firsts episodes, but she must be alive although she don�t appear in this moment. If she was cremated, Homer could keep her ashes in a jug and put it on the chimmey and Bart could get the jug playing with it and break it.

Yes, there is an espisode in which Marge's mum died. She lived with homer's father in the nursery home. She is like a slave of Abraham Simpson.
