I'm a Designer with extensive CADD knowledge. I would like to design a Three Dimentional version of Sprinfield on the computer for all to enjoy.
However the assistance i need from the alt.tv.simpsons news group is a place where i can find a high quaility image, painting, anything where someone has constructed the entire simpson town site so i can trasfer that into a 3D universe

I think the problem you're going to run into is Springfield's layout is redrawn as required... One week Mt. Springfield is there, the next it's gone. Some episodes the kids are on the bus for ages to get to school, in others the school is literally across from the back yard. One day Springfield's next to the ocean, the next day it's the desert. How will you work all that out?

EXCELLENT COMMENT GEOFF, HOWEVER, I WAS ON SNPP.COM AND I SAW A FRAMED PICTURE OF WHAT LOOKED LIKE A CITY MASTER PLAN THAT DEPICTED LOCATIONS OF SPRINGFIELD BUILDINGS.
PROBLEM WAS, IS THAT THE PLAN WAS INCOMPLETE, AND BECAUSE IF THE ANGLE THE PERSON TOOK THE PICTURE AT, I WAS UNABLETO MAKE OUT ANY REAL DETAIL.
EVEN IF SOMEONE CAN ASSIST IN DIRECTING ME TO PLACES WHERE THERE ARRE PEACES OF THE PUZZLE I COULD TRY PUTTING IT TOGETHER.

Why don't you write to Film Roman studios and asked for some photo copies of their background designs? The entire town has been designed and laid out by the design department there. The studio might even have a website you could look up.
