Most Simpsons fans don't spend a lot of time memorizing quotes, so I doubt anyone can help you here.

Are you kidding? There are people here that not only know the quote and who said it, but also the full name and season of the episode it was said in.

i don't know if i agree with that. there was a time when i would have been highly inclined to agree, say between 3 and 7 years ago maybe, but not any more. what about the people who watch it simply to inflate their egos by being "right" about the show "sucking" and entrenching themselves in their opinions by coming here and voicing them to a bunch of people who don't care? i'm *certainly* not on the same wavelength as those people. perhaps there still is a subset of people who currently watch the show who are on the same wavelength, but i don't know.
