Why can't they run these races on Saturday? Sunday evening belongs to OFF.
Personally, I could never understand the appeal of sitting there and watching a bunch of cars driving around a loop for hours and hours.. At least toss some pedestrians out there, or plant some mines. That'd make it worth watching.

You have the Craftsman Truck series races and Nationwide (formerly Busch) series races, which are in addition to the Sprint (formerly Winston Cup) series. Racing is an entire weekend event at most tracks. The trucks generally (but not always) run on Fridays and the Nationwide races run on Saturdays. Again, not always, but most of the time.
I say run most of the field counterclockwise (as they do now) but make the pole leaders run clockwise. That *that's* racing!

Good for them, but they've got their choice of 6 days that are NOT Sunday. Hell, they can even have that one too, provided that they're done by 6:00. All I ask is that leave OFF and the following shows alone.

Um, you do know that the season ended the week before, so it's not like you would miss anything. Plus, the Coke 600 is Fox's last race of the season, so really it's only one week out of the entire year that Fox normally broadcasts a race in that slot. (Your beef really should be with the baseball postseason, which actually preempts the schedule more than the Sprint Cup races.) The only other scheduled Sprint Cup race to run on Sunday night is the fall Atlanta race Labor Day weekend, which is part of ESPN's slate.
