Godfather ref in newest episode - 300th

How come no one posted about the best part of the whole episode? When Marge beat up the mugger it was Punch-for-punch a complete re-enactment of when Sonny beats up Carlo for beating his sister in Gofather 1....

any thoughts?

in one of my replies i mentioned this, i thought it was brilliant :) if a touch brutal for the simpsons!

EVERYONE has posted about that.

It wasn't "punch for punch" because they didn't use the famously obvious "air punch" where James Caan misses Carlo's head go a good three or four inches, yet Carlo still reacts as if he was punched.
