I rarely laughed myself. There are episodes I've seen (no lie) around 150 times and STILL laugh. This is one of the worse episodes I've seen. Maybe it's me, but I dont really care for musical episodes. All Singing, All Dancing, This one, plus others I dont remember names of. Mostly because I dont watch them. I was very near getting up and just doing something else more constructive. That's when it's getting bad folks. Overall I give this a big F-. Most of the F comes from looking forward to this episode so much and it just sucking like a Hoover (Vaccum not the former President). Never? Were you in a coma during season 10 and 11? I can't be the only one who laughed several times; in particular, there were a lot of humorous lines in the songs, but that's not all.

I didn't laugh once during last week's episode (My Mother the Carjacker). All of the jokes were misfires and a lot of them were poor attempts at Family Guy-style shock value. Also, Homer was acting like a big baby. Sure, it had an emotional plot, but the main job of The Simpsons is to be FUNNY. That episode gets a C- at best.

This episode caused a few chuckles...nothing had me ROTFLMAO but there were some funny lines and Willy was in fine form. The songs were kinda corny and seemed to come in at awkward times, unlike in past musical episodes where they seemed to flow in smoothly. Still, not a horrible episode. I give it a C+.

Season 15 is getting off to a so-so start, much like Season 14 did (and ultimately ended up being a so-so season overall, with a few highs and lows here and there). The best episode of the season so far was TOHXIV, which was also the best TOH of the Al Jean era so far.

Oh, EXCUSE ME!! Just because I use shorthand terms like that doesn't mean that I don't understand what made The Simpsons so great in its prime. I could've easily used some wordy expression that means the same basic thing as ROTFLMAO but I just didn't feel like it. I suggest that you stop being so judgemental.
