Actually, the joke is somewhat implicit in your statement...

You're not American, but I bet you have heard of Burger King and McDonald's, and KFC.

But you haven't heard of Arby's, which is sort of the next level down in fast food. Apparently not enough to get franchises overseas.

Oddly enough, not in quality; the food is actually better, and better for you, than those other fast food places.

But a typical American response about Arby's would probably be:  "Yeah, I
ate there once.  The food was actually not bad.      But....I never eat
there.   Why?  I dunno, it just doesn't occur to me to do so"

Why? Well, they don't advertise as much. But also, like Homer, people may crave the more artery-clogging foodstuffs.
