God Damn Pre-empting

Screw the football, just give us back The Simpsons. I dont see why they cant at least move The Simpsons to a different timeslot when its going to be pre-empted by football. GIVE ME BACK MY EPISODES!

I don't understand. In the U.S. east time zone, football is over between 7 and 7:30 on Sunday. The Simpsons airs at 8. And I've always thought the central time zone just does that same thing only one hour earlier. The other two time zones should be no problem; and not other country would be showing american football. Where's the conflict?

It's always been Futurama that gets nailed by football. So much so that they gave up on it, I guess.

Fox switches around from game to game until all games across the country have ended. They also have a 30 minute post game show that they try to air in its entirety. So if the last game of the day runs to 7:35 or so, the first few minutes of the Simpsons will be pre-empted.
