Most Simpsons per week? part 2

The Fox affiliate in Los Angeles correctly restored The Simpsons airing weeknights at 11pm, so now we have it three times a day plus at 6 on Sundays in addition to the network airing for 17 times a week. What does the rest of the world get nowadays?

I think someone posted recently that Australia gets 50 something episodes per week...right?

In Boston we get WNDS at 5:30 p.m. Mon-Fri. And WFXT 7:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. Mon-Fri. That is 15 episodes right there. Also, WFXT on Saturday at 7:30 p.m., and WFXT on Sunday at 8:30 p.m. 17 episodes.

You're forgetting the 3 a week on BBC2 (at least when the olympics isn't on)

New Zealand: 3 times per week max.: Season 13 on Sat. nights, season 11/12 repeats on Sun nights. They used to play reruns every weeknight, but the got lazy. Very, very lazy. :(

In Montreal (Quebec) we use to get:

Monday to Friday: ABC at 4pm and 4:30pm CBC at 5pm Not sure what channel at 5:30pm Teletoon 3 times a day Teletoon in French 3 times a day

Saturday: Teletoon 3 times Teletoon in French 3 times Global at 5:00 and 5:30pm

Sunday Teletoon 3 times Teletoon in French 3 times Global at 5:00 and 5:30pm Fox/Global at 8pm

That's: MF: 7 English, 3 French Sat: 5 English, 3 French Sun: 6 English, 3 French

Total: 46 English, 21 French

although recently Teletoon cut to 2 a day and its no longer on at 5:30 on weekdays

Is Teletoon one of the companies that produces the Redwall animated series?

Seriously I can't understand why stuff like the simpsons gets redubbed. Subtitles would be better as from what I heard on the DVDs the redubs were awful, although lipsink is less of a problem than with live action. I love the film Das Boot but will only watch it with Subtitles even though some of the original actors did the english dub.

Me too. Exellent movie. Completely unwatchable in re-dub (can't explain why), which is very difficult for me to say because I despise subtitles.
