Because the first racist guy posted it here for some reason and then all the people in the other newsgroups started replying with no regard for what groups they were posting too. I responded to all the threads and asked that they stop crossposting here, but I don't delude myself into thinking they will just because I asked nicely.

Perhaps, but it also requires that you do not crosspost to irrelevent newsgroups in the first place. I think the interest of not continuing to flood a newsgroup with off topic posts is more important than the interest of replying to the same newsgroups because netiquette may or may not require it.

I reported the original poster which came from chello.com, the rest I left alone because they were just replying to him and most did not realize what groups they were posting too. Don't get the real Swift Rider (using rcn.net) confused with the original poster (using chello.com) who falsified himself as Swift Rider. The real Swift Rider is an ok guy and stoppped crossposting here as soon as it was brought to his attention.
